Here’s the details. To get married legally, you need 1 months notice. Sometimes, life happens.. and you want to get hitched quickly. What I offer is this..

A ceremony / elopement with all this beautiful bits, less the legal stuff*. If you don’t want the legal stuff then we have a “Commitment Ceremony” and it’s done. If you want to be legally married, we complete a Notice of Intended Marriage – NOIM, do the ceremony without the legal bits, then 1 month after lodging the NOIM we get together again and complete the legal stuff* to the marriage.

You can still write and say your own vows, say ‘I Do’, exchange rings.

What’s The Catch? The little catch is that by law, I must declare that the ceremony is not a legal marriage at the time it is taking place.

*Legal Stuff: Monitum said by me, Mandatory Vows said by each partner and singing of the certificates with 2 witnesses 18+
